FSSP Competitions 2022/23 Begin!

The 2022/23 Year has officially begun! Last week was full of football, with Thursday seeing our Best Football Performance and Development Competitions taking place, and on Friday we had our Girls Football Year 3/4 Competition!

Best Football Performance & Development - 29.9.22

What a day! We saw a total of 26 teams from our Ealing Schools compete in the Best Football Performance and Development competitions at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub. It was great to see such amazing talent and performance on display, and a huge well done to everyone that took part. It was all to play for, with many teams across both competitions having the potential to make the final. 

Congratulations to Lady Margaret Primary School for taking Gold, with West Acton and Wolf Fields taking Silver and Bronze respectively in the Development Competition. 

Congratulations to St. Mark’s Primary School for taking Gold, with Fielding and Oaklands taking Silver and Bronze respectively in the Performance Competition. 

A huge thank you to Brentford Community Trust for supporting and partnering with the event. 

Year 3/4 Girls Football - 30.9.22

It was fitting that our Year 3/4 Girls Competition was also on the same day as the Barclays Football Girls Football School Partnership National Conference. 

Whilst Juma was at Villa Park representing Featherstone SSP, the rest of us were at Featherstone High School, joined by 11 schools for the competition. It was great to see many girls playing football, having fun and most of all full of enthusiasm. Well done to all that came and took part!

Congratulations to Fielding Primary School who took the Gold and who are through to the LYG Higher Competition, as well as Little Ealing and Allenby who took Silver and Bronze respectively.
