Team Size: 6-8 children
This enables children to have at least 2-3 “activities” for their team

Treasure Hunt - Floating objects |
· A variety of floating objects are placed in the pool
· On the whistle the swimmers will have 1 minute to collect as many items as possible and return them to the raft (or big float) placed on poolside.
· Swimmers can only collect one item at a time. If they bring back two items, the officials will remove one of them.
· For the item to count it must be placed on the raft – it cannot be thrown
· If an item falls back into the pool it must be placed by the swimmer back onto the raft
· Competitors should be encouraged to” swim” at all times rather than walk
3 competitors per team – two events

Treasure Hunt – Sinking objects |
· A variety of sinking objects are placed in the pool
· On the whistle the swimmers will have 1 minute to collect as many items as possible from the bottom of the pool and return them to the raft (or big float) placed on poolside.
· Swimmers can only collect one item at a time. If they bring back two items, the officials will remove one of them.
· For the item to count it must be placed on the raft – it cannot be thrown
· If an item falls back into the pool it must be placed by the swimmer back onto the raft
· Competitors should be encouraged to swim at all times
Schools should have 2 competitors per team
These competitors should be different from those that competed in events 3 and 4 – Treasure Hunt Floating objects
