The Ealing Schools Cross Country Event has now been running for 20 years welcoming all types of schools from within and outside the borough. To secure the long term future of this popular event the organising committee consisting of Ealing Council, the two Ealing School Sports Partnerships and Ealing, Southall and Middlesex AC introduced a charging policy two years ago and after reviewing the feedback we have decided to keep the small entry fee of £40 for private schools , schools located outside the borough and those outside of the school sports partnership to help cover the annual event costs.
This decision will be reviewed after this year’s event and as always we would welcome your thoughts and suggestions on this matter as well as any other relating to the event.
We are pleased to be working in partnership with Tir Chonaill Gaels Gaelic Football Club again and will have access to the facilities in clubhouse as follows:
Registration will be in the clubhouse and entry is restricted to team managers and event officials only.Toilets will be available as follows:Boys, go round the left side of the clubhouse as you look at it and the boys toilets are at the back of the clubhouse.Girls, are inside the main door of the clubhouse and to the right -all running spikes and studded footwear to be removed before entering the clubhouse.Individual medals will be awarded at each race for the athletes finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their age group.
The closing date for entry isTuesday 27th September, please complete and return the entry form to Active Ealing or to your SSP, enclosing a cheque payable toLondon Borough of Ealing for £40, if you are not a member of the School Sports Partnership.
